Love, love, love the Fourth of July fun! This year Fredonia celebrated on the Saturday before the 4th, and Kanab celebrated on Monday the 4th! This was awesome for us because then we were able to do both days instead of missing out on one or the other. I had the chance to ride my horse in the Fredonia parade while Dusty had the girls in the fire truck causing trouble and starting a water fight with the forest service guys. On Monday, we watched the parade together and helped the kids collect all the candy they could. Then Monday evening we went to Dusty's brothers house where we eat snacks all night and play with totally legal fireworks till the real ones start. What a great weekend we had! Wish we could do this more often, but it definately give us something amazingly fun to look forward to every year!

While we were playing with the fireworks, we were wondering where Shelby had gone. I spotted her playing in the sandbox just having a blast with all the trucks she gathered up. When I walked over she was laughing and having a good time and when I asked if I could take her picture she said,"Wait, wait...let me put all these trucks up here and then take my picture!"
