It seems there may be a small obsession in our family with ducks. As seen here in this photo, Shelby has her duck. She loves this duck more than anything else in the world, I believe. She can't function without it, and I'm sure most of you already know this about her. She just picked it up one day and has never put it down since. Our next child Allison just has a way with animals. Any animal really, but she has this unexplained knack for catching things that might be hard to catch. We have 5 ducks and on any given day, you can look out the window and she will be carrying around one of our ducks. She does it so much we have started calling her the duck whisperer. She is truly amazing. Kati is the only one of my kids that happens to be scared of our ducks and chickens. She will get close enough to see them and then run away as soon as on of them looks at her.

Miss Shelby with "The Duck." Notice her hand. She rubs the small tuft of hair on the top of the duck. It is almost completely gone she does it so much. We like to call it the ancient art of ducking. Very rare!

This is miss thing with one of our ducks. This picture captures her perfectly, and the way she loves those ducks.

Again the ancient art of ducking as Shelby is demonstrating for you!!! I was lucky to catch this shot.

I don't know where my kids get it from :)

And this is how close Kati will get to the duck! Also,,, all the kids passed the duck around that day! He got a lot of loving.
The ancient art of ducking!! :)
