Dusty's birthday was on July 11th, but we decided long before that that we wanted to take a little weekend trip to Las Vegas for his birthday. So we took off on Friday July 22nd and we were off until Sunday. It was so crazy not packing for the whole fam, just the 2 of us. We invited our wonderful friends to come along with us for the weekend, Bayden and Mandy Grover. The plan was that on Friday night we would just hang out in Mesquite ,where my parents have a house, and do a buffet and a movie, and then on Saturday we would head into Vegas for some shopping and then a dinner and a show at The Tournament of Kings, at the Excalibur. It was just a relief that we didn't have to rush anywhere. We had a really fun night ,Friday night , eating slowly at a buffet of our choosing, then we went to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows; Part 2! (I didn't really want to see Harry Potter, Dusty is a freak for Harry Potter movies so I just went along with what he wanted to do) On Saturday morning we just slept in and got going when we wanted. We did some shopping at a mall we found and then we walked through some casinos before heading to our show. The show was fabulous and the dinner was super fun, we had to eat with our hands! I wish we could do this kind of thing a lot more! A big thanks to Aunt Kristy who had our 3 girls all weekend long so that we could go. *&^%^^ This is a picture of Dusty and I at the Excalibur tin soldier right before going into the show.
Here we are waiting for the show to start. It was a huge ampitheare that surrounded a horse arena. They did jousting, and sword fighting. We were sitting in the Hungary section so that was the knight we cheered for! HaZaah!
Just some of the sights we were seeing. THE STRIP!

Hey sometimes you gotta cute loose!
A little sword play of our own! I'm totally winning!
